Sydney Hotel  is a great place to stay if you want to be in the center of the city. Great view from the 6th floor walkway, views from the room balconies are very nice as well. It’s an older hotel, but I find the architecture very pleasing. It’s clean, quiet and well kept. Food at the second floor restaurant is average, but the 6th floor grill is outstanding and should be on your list of places to eat even if you don’t stay at the hotel.

..at ang views sa rooftop? Breath-taking!Image

KCC Mall of Gensan. In 1992, KCC opened its first store in General Santos City called KCC Warehouse Plaza. In 1996, KCC Warehouse Plaza converted into an airconditioned mall and was renamed KCC Mall of Gensan.
Afterwards, they opened the KCC Warehouse club in General Santos City. The warehouse club was burned in a fire that triggered the birth of their biggest mall, the KCC Mall of General Santos.

It is one of the state universities of the Philippines, the first and only state university in General Santos City, with the aim of providing education for the different strategic locations across the island of Mindanao.

Lahat naman ng schools sa gensan astig! pero bakit MSU General Santos?! Kasi hindi lang a plce for quality education but also a very nice place for nature and structural sight-seeings.

Queen Tuna Park (formerly known as Lion’s Beach)
Why QTP over Tropicana? Simply because this beach surpasses generations. Hindi pa ako pinapanganak local park na ito.
It is a public beach developed into a park by the city government. Queen Tuna Park is actually a good place, it just lacks more care and attention, but what should i say? This place is HISTORICAL!
The 1st National Skimboarding Competition, which is a first for the Tuna Festival dated from 2009 until this year’s Tuna Fest is usually held at the Queen Tuna Park.

Made entirely of reinforced concrete and macadam, the airport’s runway is the third-longest runway in the Philippines, after Runway 06/24 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport and Runway 04/22 of Mactan-Cebu International Airport respectively.

One of the best places to spend an early morning or afternoon stroll in General Santos is at the newly developed Plaza Heneral Santos. Considered as one of the busiest parks in General Santos, this P34 million Plaza Heneral Santos was unveiled to the public on September 4, 2009.
